1. What is the subject of your illustration and why did you choose it? Explain.

I chose Miracle because it shows the patriotic side of American sports.  I tried to incorporate the red background not only for the red color of the American flag, but to show the fierceness of the players.

2. What do you like about your art? Explain.

I love how I incorporated the gold medal to show that they won the 1980 Ice Hockey Winter Olympics.

3. What advice would you give another student before they begin the pictogram technique? Explain. Try to make it as simple as possible.  But also incorporate other themes, objects or scenes to portray what the movie is about.
